In the U.S., Belden complies with ISO quality standards requirements. The ISO 9000 Series provides general quality assurance guidelines as well as quality system models. Functions assessed include quality management systems, sales, design, planning, purchasing, production, test, product stocking and shipping. To achieve ISO 9001:2000 the Belden met all the quality requirements in these areas, including the commitment to continual improvement.
The Division’s headquarters office in Richmond, IN and the Richmond plant have been certified to ISO 9001:2000, as well as the Kentucky plants (click below to see documentation):

Belden is the first cabling system manufacturer in the world to have a third party testing certification on its IBDN 4800LX cabling systems for the application broadband video. Broadband video is definitely one application that can take full advantage of the improved transmission performance offered by Category 6 cabling and beyond. Broadband video can find all kinds of applications in a business environment including specialty news channels, video conferencing, distance learning and security monitoring. High quality video will be the next wave of applications that will have a dramatic impact on your network.
